Realme 6i with MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, 18W Quick Charge Support to Launch on March 17 in Myanmar

Realme 6i is the upcoming smartphone from Realme brand that succeeds the Realme 5i. Unusually, the company is launching the smartphone in Myanmar unlike the previous smartphones. In an official Facebook post, Realme Myanmar has announced the launch of the Realme 6i for March 17. Along with the launch date, the brand did reveal some of the key specifications of the device. One of which is the MediaTek Helio G80 processor, which the Realme 6i will equip and it is going to be the world’s first smartphone to equip it.

The Realme 6i is also confirmed to come with 18W Quick Charge support and USB Type-C port. The company claims that the 18W Quick Charge feature can reduce the charging time by 38%. The Realme 6i comes with a tag line #UnleashthePower. The launch event happens between 3PM and 5PM local time on March 17. Apart from this, the real image of the Realme 6i was leaked on the web, revealing us the back design.

Realme 6i Spotted on FCC Earlier with Real Images

The Realme 6i with model number RMX2040 was earlier spotted in FCC listing with real-life images and key specifications. According to FCC, the handset measures 164.4×75.4×9.0mm and weighs 195 grams. Powering the device is the massive 5000mAh battery that is charged by an 18W fast charger. The mobile runs ColorOS 7 as per the listing, but we expect that to be replaced by the Realme UI later. The real images leaked on FCC suggests a quad camera setup on the rear just like the current Realme 5i. The fingerprint sensor is on the back and on the front, there is a waterdrop notch. In the design department, Realme seems to have not made any changes and continued the same Realme 5i design. Realme brings a new Whitish color share for the first time in a budget device.
