Realme 2 Pro Android Pie Update Adds Theme Store, Game Centre, Chroma Boost Mode, and More


 Realme recently rolled out the latest OTA for Realme 2 Pro

Oppo spin-off Realme recently rolled out the latest OTA for its popular device, Realme 2 Pro. The new microcode contains build number RMX1801EX_11.A.20 and weighs 2.71GB. In addition, the “Pie” update comes with Chroma Boost, HAL3 support for the camera, ColorOS launcher along with its App drawer.

    • Based on Android Pie, it is updated to ColorOS 6
    • Addition of notification icons in the status bar is done
    • Addition of lock screen magazine and new navigation gesture
    • Insertion of app drawer to ColorOS launcher
    • Added Riding Mode and live wallpaper
    • Android Security Patch Level is May 5, 2019
  • UI
    • UI of the notification panel and UI of the AI Board are updated
    • Update in respect of default theme is made
  • Camera
    • Chroma Boost Mode and HAL3 support are added
  • Applications
    • Addition of realme Theme Store
    • Addition of realme App Market in certain regions
    • Realme Game Center is added in certain regions
    • Addition of realme Community only for certain regions

To ensure the stability of this OTA, the update is rolled out in a staged manner for a limited number of users and a broader rollout will be released when no critical bugs are found.

You can install the update manually before the OTA reaches the smartphone if you have the latest Android Oreo firmware available.
