Recently, multiple reports surfaced concerning the launch of OPPO Find X2 Neo in the international market. It was rumored that OPPO Find X2 Neo is the addition to the Find X2 series alongside Find X2/X2 Pro. There were also various leaked renders related to the Find X2 Lite. Now it appears that the rendered leaks surrounding the Find X2 Neo turn out to be fake. Shen Yiren dismissed the reports and said that he has never heard about such products in the world. He also said that there might be a possibility of some regional operators storing the same batch of products in a warehouse for convenient naming. Shen Yiren expressed his views through a Weibo post.
Shen Yiren quoted:
“I didn’t know such a product around the world. Similar friends exist in some areas of operators to store the same batch of products for the name of convenient possibility….Find X2 … Neo? Really fake? Is the Find series so self-deprecating”.
In line with Shen’s opinion, the OPPO Find X2 Neo looks very much identical to the OPPO Reno 3 Pro, which was launched in December. Its frontal digging, rear camera module, and the antenna design appear to be consistent with the OPPO Reno 3 Pro. Then there are the leaked renders of OPPO Find X2 Lite. The renders of the unreleased OPPO Find X2 Lite are in an exact similarity to the OPPO Reno 3 Youth. It has a Super AMOLED display, under-display fingerprint scanner, but it has a waterdrop notch on the top.
So, both the smartphones appear to be more or less similar to the already launched OPPO handsets. It very much echoes with the views of Shim Yiren, where he pointed out the storage of the same batch of products in a regional warehouse for convenient naming.
