Reno3 is the next flagship smartphone from OPPO that is confirmed to come with 5G support. The Reno3 is expected to launch in December in China and will also make way to other markets like India, Europe, etc. The device succeeds the Reno2 series that was launched earlier this year. Alongside the Reno3, OPPO is also planning to launch Reno3 Pro 5G. The company has already confirmed the same through its social media accounts. Today, surprisingly, OPPO took to Weibo to announce the much-awaited Reno3 revealing the full design of the back. The OPPO Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro are now open for appointments on the official site. Apart from this, a new real hands-on image of the Reno 3 Pro 5G has been teased.
As per the teaser video posted by OPPO, the Reno3 5G will sport a quad-camera setup on the back that is arranged vertically one camera below the other. The OPPO branding and volume rocker buttons can be seen on the right side of the phone. What we can see from the side view of the phone is that the display has curved edges, which OPPO calls a waterfall display and had showcased it in July 2019. The back of the phone has a gradient design. As for the features of the Reno3, the company announced that the device will support dual-mode 5G and has a built-in 5G integrated chip that supports SA / NSA dual-mode 5G network.
Earlier reports suggest that Reno3 will be equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 processor that was launched earlier this month. OPPO had already confirmed that the Reno3 Pro would sport Snapdragon 765G processor, ultra-thin form factor, weigh less than 180g and finally will be powered by a 4025mAh battery.
