OPPO Vice President Shen Yiern Brian today announced that the company will mass-produce the world’s first 65W SuperVOOC fast charging technology in the month of October. In addition, Brian added a hashtag RenoAce, hinting that the device will sport this fast charging technology. At the launch event of Reno2, Brian confirmed that the Reno Ace will indeed launch in October with 90Hz display, 4000mAh battery and SuperVOOC fast charging technology. In the comments section, Brian hinted about the launch date announcement for Monday.
65W SuperVOOC fast charging tech in a smartphone means that the device will get a full charge in a matter on a few minutes. Xiaomi’s 40W fast charger can fully charge a phone in 69 minutes. OPPO’s 100W fast charging that was demonstrated earlier this year can juice up a 4000mAh battery in a matter of 17 minutes. All this means that the latest 65W SuperVOOC fast charging tech will have a capability to fully charge the 4000mAh battery within 30minutes.
With 90Hz display, 65W SuperVOOC fast charger, the Reno Ace will justify to stand in the premium segment. Except these, details about other specs are scares at the moment. Other specs that we expect to be available on this phone include Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 5G support, up to 12GB of RAM, etc.
