OPPO is adding a new smartphone to the most-popular the F series in the name of the F15 in India. After launching the F11 and F11 Pro, OPPO skipped the F12, F13 and F14 and launching the F15 on January 16 in India. We can now confirm that the OPPO F15 is the rebranded version of the A91 smartphone that was launched in China a month ago. The confirmation comes from the leaked poster and hands-on video that we can grab from the reliable retail source.
As per the leaked poster, we can confirm that the OPPO F15 will be equipped with the MediaTek Helio P70 processor. Interestingly, the OPPO F11 and F11 Pro were also powered by the same Helio P70 chipset. Apart from this, the poster says the device will flaunt a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen. There will be a rear camera setup on the rear consisting of 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors. On the front, a 16MP selfie shooter is present inside the waterdrop notch. Lastly, the OPPO F15 is powered by a 4025mAh battery that comes with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
Apart from the poster, we are also able to manage to grab the dummy unit of the OPPO F15, revealing the device fully. The device comes in a sky blue color shade with a gradient design. The device comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The OPPO F15 is launching in India on January 16 and Amazon has put up a teaser page suggesting its availability in the ecommerce store. The smartphone will also become available for purchase via offline retail stores in India as well. Our retail sources reported us that the pre-booking of the device has already started in the majority of the stores in India.
