OPPO is all set to launch its flagship 5G smartphone Ace 2 in China on April 13. Now, ahead of the launch, we have an official video of the OPPO Ace 2. The company has posted it on its official Weibo account and the spotted real images did reveal important specifications. The phone is confirmed to sport a display with a 90Hz refresh rate and support the 180Hz sampling rate. The display is confirmed to offer a peak brightness of 890 bits and is easy to view outdoors.
The circular quad-camera setup of OPPO Ace 2 is also visible in the official video. We did get a glimpse of some of the specifications and features of the device thanks to leaked renders and news. OPPO Ace 2 was recently listed on JD.com revealing the punch-hole display, color options and more. Another leaked poster revealed the Ace2 to be priced at CNY 4399.
Specifications and Features of the OPPO Ace 2
The OPPO Ace 2 will arrive in two colour options; Moon Rock Ash and Dream Purple. The handset is said to sport a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED with a punch-hole cut-out. The device has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The phone will be available in two RAM and three memory configurations- 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 865 processor with support for dual-mode 5G.
For photography, the OPPO Ace 2 features a quad-camera array on the rear arranged in a circular fashion. The four cameras on the rear comprise a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors. At the front, the smartphone packs a 16MP selfie camera embedded inside the punch-hole display. The phone is powered by a dual battery setup with a rated capacity of 1955mAh and supports 65W fast charging support. Further, the device is said to come with UFS 3.0 flash storage.
