OPPO Ace 2 is the upcoming 5G smartphone that is launching in China on April 13. Ace is the new series from OPPO like Reno, A & F series and Ace 2 is the first smartphone to launch. The device had previously appeared on multiple certifications and benchmark platforms, where full specifications got revealed. Today, OPPO has officially revealed the poster of the Ace2 and independently, OPPO official website and popular Chinese e-commerce websites JD.com has listed the handset with its renders and key specifications.
The listings on JD and Suning revealed the design of the OPPO Ace 2 in full glory. According to the listing, the Ace 2 will be available in two color options – Moon Rock Ash and Dream Purple. The handset has a single punch-hole camera on the front and a quad camera setup in a circular arrangement on the back. Volume rocker keys are present on the left side of the device and power button is placed on the right side. The listing further reveals us the storage options – 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. The hole-punch camera is arranged on the top left corner of the device.
The TENAA certification website revealed us the full specifications of the Ace 2 previously. The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 865 5G chipset that support dual mode 5G. A 6.5″ FullHD+ AMOLED display will be on the top of the device with a 16MP punch-hole camera. On the back, the quad camera consists of one 48MP, one 8MP and two 2MP modules. The device will be fueled by dual battery setup with a rated capacity of 1955mAh. The Ace 2 also support 65W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging technologies.
