After doing rounds of the internet, OnePlus 7 Pro has been confirmed to launch on May 14 at an event in New York. But ahead of its launch, it has yet sparked the internet once again with leaks of its specs including colour options, storage, RAM and prices of the model. According to the fresh information, the handset will arrive in three colour options, three storage + RAM variants, falling into different price segments.
As per the details shared by a tipster Ishan Agarwal via Twitter, the device will arrive with 6GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM variant and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option. The pricing for the 8GB RAM variant would be Euro 749 to 759 (Rs. 58,500 – Rs. 59,300 approx); for 12GB RAM variant, it would be EUR 819 to 829 (Rs. 63,900 – Rs. 64,700 approx). The price for the 6GB RAM variant is not shared but reasonably, it could be around EUR 699 (Rs. 54,500 approx). Adding to that, he also mentions the price of the device will depend as per the region and tax laws imposed along with other government regulations.
For the colour variants of OnePlus 7 Pro, it carries Nebula Blue, Almond and Mirror Grey. There is no mention regarding the design or look of the device but owing to the teaser image, it does appear that the company will provide a vibrant and glossy pattern.
Previous leaks suggest that OnePlus 7 Pro will appear with a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a resolution of 1,440 x 3,120 and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The bezel-less and notch-less display design reveals that it will be featuring a selfie pop-up camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device will be provided with a Snapdragon 855 chip and would derive its power from a 4,000mAh battery with a 30W Warp charging technology. A triple primary camera setup holds a 48MP lens with f/1.6 lens and OIS, an 8MP sensor with a telephoto f/2.4 lens and a 16MP sensor with f/1.7, wide-angle f/2.2 lens and a 117 field of view.
On the other hand, OnePlus 7 is expected to come with a 6.4-inch full HD (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) display. Unlike 7 Pro, it will feature a waterdrop notch that houses the front camera but the in-display fingerprint scanner is expected. The optic department will be filled with a dual primary setup of a 48MP lens coupled to a 5MP depth sensor. It is anticipated to come in two variants – 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage capacity. It is rumoured to support 20W warp charging technology to fill the 3,700mAh battery.
The price details of the next-gen smartphone might seem obvious, it is still unclear what pricing strategies will be followed by the Chinese maker. With the launch date getting nearer, one can have the official announcements of specs and price soon.
