OnePlus Designer Reveals Unannounced Design of the OnePlus 6, and It Looks Amazing

OnePlus incorporates some of the best designs on its smartphones, giving them a premium look. Prior to commercial launch, OnePlus tests its devices with a plethora of color and design combinations with an aim to offer best in class smartphones to users. Earlier, OnePlus designer Hao Ran showcased the unannounced Gold color of the OnePlus 7T through his official Weibo account. Now, it’s the OnePlus 6 turn to show up the new design which seems to become hit if at all it was released.

The OnePlus 6 was launched in May 2018 in four color options – Midnight Black, Mirror Black, Silk White, Amber Red. According to OnePlus designer Hao Ran, the company had tested the device with a striking design that uses wood with canvas blue and embellished gold. All these details are put out nearly 2 years after the launch of the OnePlus 6. Fans are feeling impressed about the new design of the OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus 7T Gold and asking the company to make the designs available for the upcoming devices.

Hao Ran says “The characteristics of the memory time of the wood itself are consistent with the characteristics of the retention time of the canvas. It seems that things that are not the same can give users a sense of consistency. I think gold is the catalyst that makes products happy!”

As said, OnePlus experiments with a variety of colors and design combinations prior to making them available commercially. Ran also says, “We are still experimenting with different designs. The design itself is not good or bad. The design needs the cooperation of the environment and the perception of people. To maintain the authenticity, I think users will accept it.”

To recap, the OnePlus 6 was launched with Snapdragon 845 processor and has an 6.28 inches AMOLED display. The device is available with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The OnePlus 6 is powered by a 3300mAh battery and a 20W (Dash Charge) charger fuels it.
