Nubia Z20 Goes Official in China with Dual Displays, Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC: Price, Features

Nubia Z20 has finally gone official at an event in China today. The smartphone packs exciting features under its hood. It comes with dual displays, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, dual fingerprint sensor, and a triple camera setup at the rear. The device will go on sale from August 16 at a starting price of approximately Rs 35,000 (RMB 3,499).

Specifications and Features of Nubia Z20

The Nubia Z20 flaunts a 6.42-inch Full HD+ curved glass display on the front and 5.1-inch HD+ AMOLED secondary screen on the rear. The smartphone comes with AOD (always-on display) 2.0 technology, which can be customized to display the information on both the screens such as graphics, Gif, and more. Another exciting thing is that there are two fingerprint sensors underneath both the displays. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/512GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, the Nubia Z20 houses a triple rear camera set up at the rear. It includes a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and an 8MP telephoto sensor with 3X optical zoom and 30x digital zoom capabilities. It is worth noting that the smartphone doesn’t have a front selfie snapper and the rear camera setup can be used for taking selfies and video calling. Accompanying the cameras, there is also a dual-tone LED flash on the rear. Fueling the Nubia Z20 is a massive 4,000mAh battery along with 27W fast charging support. The smartphone supports a plethora of connectivity options such as dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, dual GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C. In the software department, the Nubia Z20 runs Android 9 Pie nubia UI 7.0 on top.

Pricing and Availability:

The Nubia Z20 is released in three colours: Black, Blue, and Red and will be available on sale in China starting August 16. As for the pricing, the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at RMB 3,499 (about Rs 35,000). An upgrade to 8GB RAM with the same storage is offered at RMB 3,699 (roughly Rs 37,000). The higher variant with 8GB RAM+ 512GB storage is priced at RMB 4,199 (approximately Rs 42,000).
