HMD Global has announced two new feature phones today – Nokia 220 4G and Nokia 105. Both the phones are the refreshed versions of their iconic models. The Nokia 220 4G is set to retail at 39 Euros (around Rs 3,000), while Nokia 105 (2019) comes with a price tag of 13 Euros (around Rs 999). Both the feature phones will be available from August 2019. Nokia 220 4G comes in Blue and Black colour options, whereas Nokia 105 2019 has Blue, Black, and Pink colour variants.
Juho Sarvikas, CPO of HMD Globals, announced the introduction of the new feature phones via Twitter in two separate posts. The first post has been captioned, “We’ve got two new Nokia phones for you today. First up, the new #Nokia220 4G! A classic ready to bring HD clarity to your calls,” followed by the other post that reads, “Next up, introducing the 4th generation of our legendary Nokia 105. The original “festival phone” is back.”
The company has also provided 30 seconds of video for each phones flaunting the design of the featured devices.
As far as features are concerned, there is a 2.4-inch QQVGA colour display in Nokia 220 4G. Inside, it gets 16MB RAM along with 24MB of inbuilt storage. It also features a rear camera with an LED flash. The device also features a built-in FM Radio, music player and Bluetooth 4.2. The powerhouse is a 1,200mAh battery that is claimed to offer 6.3 hours of talk time.
On the other hand, the new Nokia 105 features a 1.77-inch display that has 160 × 120 pixels of resolution and QQVGA Color panel. It has an 800mAh battery that is said to offer 14.4 hours talk time or up to 25.8 days standby. The user memory has the capacity to store up to 500 SMS and 2,000 contacts. It’s made of polycarbonate body that renders sleek finish.
