Reliance Jio has now integrated popular apps into My Jio app through a new feature dubbed “Jio mini-apps.” The mini-apps feature thereby facilitates the integration of other Jio apps into MyJio app such as JioCinema, JioCloud, JioTV, and so on. The new feature would serve to enhance the user experience. Since the apps are integrated into the MyJio app, the users can access the apps within the My Jio app itself. It eliminates the hassle of users having to download separate apps for functionality. The mini-apps would be present on top of the home screen.
Jio Mini Apps Feature Brings Multiple Jio Apps under One Roof
The process of adding new features to the self-care apps to enhance user experience is nothing new! Reliance Jio’s rival, Bharti Airtel, has been allowing its customers to watch the Airtel Xstream app content through the Airtel Thanks app for quite sometime now. Following the footsteps of Airtel, Reliance Jio has now started offering other Jio apps under one roof (MyJio app). The Mukesh Ambani led telco has introduced a new feature dubbed Jio Mini apps. The feature facilitates the inclusion of other Jio apps such as JioCloud, JioTV, JioCinema, and JioEngage within the My Jio app.
The new Jio Mini apps feature comes in handy for users who own smartphones with low internal storage. They can quickly make use of the apps without the need to download the entire app for functionality. However, it has been found that the Jio mini-apps only offer basic app functionalities. For full app features, one may need to download the corresponding app from the Google Play Store or App store. Reliance Jio is yet to introduce Jio Payments bank services. Once, the company opens its payments bank services to the public, expect the payments bank functions to be included in the My Jio app as well.
