Motorola One Vision Launched in India at a Price of Rs19,990; Sale Begins June 26 on Flipkart

Prashant Mani, MD, Motorola Mobility, India graced the stage at the Motorola One Vision India launch event. He talked about Lenovo’s past year in India. Moreover, he was pleased to announce that Motorola had been globally profitable for the last three quarters.

He stated that Motorola is the third fastest growing OEM in the world. Furthermore, Mani revealed that the company wants to make products relevant to India. He said that they wanted to focus on “Make in India” since the country is a priority market for Motorola.

He informed that all Motorola phones sold in India including the Motorola One Vision are made in the country. Further, he added that Lenovo will continue to focus on dual-brand strategy in India. This means we will continue to see phones from both Lenovo and Motorola brands. According to Mani, we are likely to see smartphone handsets in Moto G, Motorola One, and even Moto E line-ups.

Further, Mani moved on to Motorola One Vision, which was launched in India yesterday. He explained that the smartphone is targeted towards young consumers who want great photographs from their smartphones. Therefore Motorola One Vision includes great imaging hardware, including the phone’s low-light imaging capabilities.

For this phone too, Motorola is working in partnership with Flipkart, which will be selling the One Vision in the country.

Next, he invited Motorola’s Uvais Chinoy on the stage to continue talking about the One Vision. According to Chinoy, the Motorola One series is focussed on design and innovation. Therefore, it is India’s first smartphone that features an aspect ratio of 21:9. Furthermore, he promised that the Motorola One Vision would receive two years of Android updates and three years of security updates.

The smartphone is priced at Rs 19,999, and it will go on sale beginning June 27 exclusively via Flipkart.
