Motorola Edge Plus with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 12GB RAM Spotted on Geekbench

The popular leakster EvLeaks for the first time leaked the Motorola Edge Plus and revealed that the smartphone will soon make its way to Verizon Wireless. Today, we have spotted the device on the Geekbench website which also revealed the key specifications. Going by the single and multi-core scores, we expect the processor could be Snapdragon 865. In another tweet, EvLeaks revealed another unnamed Motorola smartphone that has a punch-hole display and a Stylus Pen. A few reports suggest that this device could actually be the Motorola Edge Plus with flagship-level specifications. The Motorola Edge Plus Geekbench listing reveals the device comes with 12GB RAM and runs Android 10 out of the box. The device’s motherboard comes with a codename ‘burton’. The device comes with a single-core score of 4108 and multi-core score of 12378. Such high scores suggest that the Motorola Edge Plus could be equipped with Snapdragon 865 processor.

At the time of launching the Razr foldable smartphone, Motorola announced that it is preparing for big launches in 2020. The only concrete info we got to know from EvLeaks on the Motorola Edge Plus is that the device comes with punch-hole display and will be exclusive to Verizon Wireless. In another leak, EvLeaks shared a render of the upcoming Motorola device with same punch-hole display and Stylus Pen, which could be named as Edge Plus. If this is true, the Motorola Edge Plus would compete with Samsung Note series which also comes with Stylus Pen support.
