Xiaomi announced that it will be launching the successor to the Mi Band 3 on June 11 in China. This fitness band will be the company’s first to sport a color display. The Mi Band 4 is expected to come with an OLED display that is bigger than the current Mi Band 3. Today, Xiaomi Founder Lei Jun on Weibo revealed a poster of Mi Band 4, which suggests that the upcoming wrist band will be a huge upgrade from the current generation band. He also noted that the screen is 39.9% bigger and support more than 16,000 colors with a colorful personalized dial. According to the poster, Band 4 strips comes with a range of colors as well.
The Mi Band 4 comes in two model numbers according to the Bluetooth SIG certification – XMSH08HM and XMSH07HM. The XMSH08HM model supports NFC, and both wrist bands support Bluetooth 5.0. The Mi Band 4 is expected to come with135mAh which is a 30% increase from the Band 3.
Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will be unveiled at the Mijia Intelligent New Product Launch Conference on June 11th (next Tuesday) at 2 PM (China local time). With regard to price, the Mi Band 4 could be priced at around CNY 200 in China that roughly translates to INR 2100 in India or $30.
