China Unicom, the telecommunications operator of China, just released a list of 5G smartphones that are launched and going to be launched in China. To everyone’s surprise, the list includes Xiaomi Mi 9S, the name that is not expected by anyone who is familiar to the current happenings. The other devices that got a place in China Unicom’s list include ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G, Huawei Mate 20 X (5G), Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G, Galaxy A90 5G, Vivo iQOO Pro 5G, Vivo NEX 5G, and Vivo X series.
Among all the phones included in the list, the ZTE Axon 10 Pro is already on sale and the Mate 20 X (5G) will go on sale starting August 16 in China. The iQOO Pro will arrive on August 22. The report says that Xiaomi Mi 9S, Note 10 5G, Vivo NEX 5G, Galaxy A90 5G, and Vivo X series will get a launch date in September of this year, which means users will have a bunch of 5G phones by the end of 2019 to choose from.
Recently, a new Xiaomi smartphone bearing model number M1908F1XE appeared on 3C certification website. The certification reveals the device will have a 45W fast charging capabilities. Now, it looks like that the Mi 9S is that device with model number M1908F1XE.
Huawei Mate 30 5G is not the thing that is unexpected as we have already seen the Mate 20 X (5G) released in several countries across the world. The Mate 30 5G is rumored to equip the Kirin 985 chipset and support 3D face recognition. A few reports say that the device will sport the waterfall screen that OPPO has showcased recently.
As fas the iQOO Pro is concerned, the device will be launched on August 22 in China and will arrive with Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, 4500mAh battery, 44W super-fast charging, triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint sensor.
