Meizu 17 series is the new flagship lineup from the company that is confirmed to launch in China on May 8. Until now, the company has confirmed vanilla and Pro versions of the Meizu 17. Today, the online listing on popular e-commerce website JD.com revealed us the third model of the Meizu 17, which is called the Meizu 17T. It may launch on the same day along with 17 and 17 Pro. The listing did not reveal any other details of the device except the moniker.
If we recap the specs officially revealed by Meizu (1, 2, 3) the 17 and 17 Pro sport 90Hz display, a punch-hole camera on the front, 64MP camera with AR filters and stickers. Both Meizu 17 and 17 Pro will equip Snapdragon 865 SoC, which offers 5G connectivity via X55 5G modem. The devices run OneMind 4.0 UI which is expected to be based on Android 10. There will be a UFS 3.1 storage, which is now the premium feature at least in the flagship devices. The Meizu 17 will be powered by a 4500mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. On the rear, the Meizu 17 series has a quad camera setup that is arranged horizontally.
As for the pricing, leaks point to CNY 3,999 pricing for the Meizu 17, while the Meizu 17 Pro may have a bit higher price tag. We do not have any other details about the Meizu 17T, but we expect the company to reveal more intel about the device as the launch draws closer.
