Meizu 16T is the latest addition to the 16 series and is going to launch tomorrow in China. The device will feature flagship specs and compete with the likes of the OnePlus 7T, Redmi K20 Pro and Realme X2 Pro in China. Ahead of its official launch, the detailed configuration of the device got leaked on Weibo including the renders and camera samples.
According to the leaked marketing material, the Meizu 16T will stick to the notch-less display just like its siblings. On the top, there will be thin bezels for placing the camera and speaker grill. The device flaunts a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The device also comes with TUV Rheinland eye certification just like most of today’s phones like the Redmi Note 8 Pro, Realme X2 Pro, OnePlus 7T, etc. With 600 nits of peak brightness, the device offers a high peak brightness. Under the hood, the device is equipped with a Snapdragon 855 processor that comes with Kryo 485 CPU clocked at 2.85GHz along with UFS 3.0 stockpiling.
The Meizu 16T is powered by a 4500mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The device supports Game Mode 4.0, has a linear motor, dual stereo speakers and retains 3.5mm headphone jack. On the back, there is a triple camera setup that supports HDR mode.
The Meizu 16T will officially launch in China tomorrow and will likely be priced under CNY 3000. As for the availability, the mobile will go on sale via e-commerce sites like JD.com, Tmall, Suning, etc.
