The Chinese smartphone brand, Meizu has just made an announcement through Weibo that the Meizu 16s Pro will be landing on August 28. The device is expected to sport flagship specifications and take on the likes of OnePlus 7 series, Redmi K20 Pro in China. The device got leaked on the official website and e-commerce site, revealing all the key specifications and features ahead of the launch.
Bearing the model number M973Q, the Meizu 16s Pro will pack the Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset and equip up to 12GB of RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.0 storage. As for the display, the device flaunts an AMOLED display having a refresh rate of 90Hz and 120Hz touch sample rate. The device sports an edge-to-edge display with narrow bezels at the top and the bottom. The major difference between the 16s and 16s Pro lies only in the number of cameras at the rear. The later sports a triple camera setup at the rear. The triple camera setup bears 40MP and 20MP sensors. The third sensor is expected to be an ultra-wide lens.
The Meizu 16s Pro will support 18W fast charging and run Android 9 Pie OS with FlymeOS 8. The model appeared on 3C which revealed the device would support 24W charging. The pricing and availability details of the Meizu 16s Pro are not revealed and available at the moment, but we can expect more details to surface as the launch draws closer.
The Meizu 16s Pro will get launched at 14:30 on August 28th in Zhuhai, China.
