LG is all set to launch the W-series smartphone in the Indian market on 26th June. The company has sent media invites related to the launch event. Although there is no specific mention of the device in the media invite, we do expect it to be W10 as per the reports. As per the leaked invite, the launch event will take place on 26th June in New Delhi at 11.30am. The specifications of LG W10 has been leaked from various reports. Earlier this month, Amazon India has deployed a dedicated landing page for the company’s first W-series smartphone, which revealed some of the key specifications of the device. LG W10 would be available in three color options which are yet to be revealed. The mid-range smartphone sports a 6.2-inch display and houses a fingerprint scanner on the rear. Also, the device features a triple rear camera set up, out of which one is believed to be an ultra-wide angle shooter. LG W10 also carries a customizable notch placed on top of the display. Apart from this, the new pocket-friendly smartphone is said to be powered by either Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC or MediaTek’s Helio P60 processor. Furthermore, LG W10 will be powered by a massive 4000 mAH battery that lasts for the greater part of the day on a single charge. The smartphone will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Pricing and availability

The new LG W10 is touted to target the mid-range market in India. There is no information with regard to the pricing of the new W-series smartphone. It is also believed that the LG W10 would give tough competition to Xiaomi Redmi Note and Samsung M-line up. The smartphone is “Amazon exclusive” and would be available for purchase via the e-commerce store.
