Lenovo Z6 Pro Could Launch in India Soon, Passes BIS Certification

Lenovo Z6 Pro was launched in China in April 2019. The device is confined to the home country and is not launched elsewhere. The Lenovo Z6 Pro has now been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which indicates the smartphone could soon be launched in India.

The Bureau of India Standards has certified the Lenovo Z6 Pro bearing the model number L78051. Now that the smartphone received BIS certification, it could be launched in India shortly. Lenovo hasn’t launched any of the Z series models in India. With the launch of Z6 Pro, Lenovo might be targetting the affordable flagship space, which is dominated by the Redmi K20 Pro, OnePlus 7 series, etc.

Specifications and features of Lenovo Z6 Pro

Lenovo Z6 Pro sports a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display offering a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass that protects it from scratches. Lenovo Z6 Pro is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with up to 12 GB RAM and 512GB storage.

As far as the optics are concerned, the Lenovo Z6 Pro houses a quad-camera set up at the rear featuring 48MP + 16MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors. For selfie lovers, there is a 32MP snapper embedded inside the teardrop notch. Fueling the Lenovo Z6 Pro is a large 4,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. The smartphone runs ZUI 11-based Android 9 Pie. 


The Lenovo Z6 Pro comes in four memory variants. The 6GB/128GB variant is priced at CNY 2899 which translates to Rs 29,000. The 8GB/128GB variant is priced at CNY 2999 that equals approximately to Rs 30,000. The 8GB/256GB variant costs CNY 3799 (approx. Rs 38,000 ) and lastly, the 12GB/256GB variant is priced at CNY 4999 (approx. Rs 50,000).
