Lenovo is planning to soon launch the Z6 smartphone in China after bringing the Z6 Pro and Z6 Youth Edition early this year. Lenovo has been teasing the smartphone from quite some time, and we now knew a few of the key features through Geekbench and 3C certifications. Lenovo Vice President Chang Cheng, today through a Weibo post, announced key specs of the device with some analysis.
According to the Lenovo VP, the Z6 is equipped with a Snapdragon 730 chipset which uses the same 4-series Kryo core like the Snapdragon 855 SoC. With a clock speed of 2.2 GHz, the chipset offers 35% more performance than the previous generation’s single-core processor. Like the Snapdragon 855, the SD 730 is also equipped with advanced Cortex-A76 architecture which offers improved performance compared to the Cortex A75 of Snapdragon 845. The 4th generation multi-core Qualcomm AI Engine present in the Snapdragon 730 increases the camera, gaming, and performance of the device.
Not only that, the 8nm process technology utilized in making the Snapdragon 730 processor reduces the power consumption by 10% compared to the counterpart chipsets made of the 10nm process. The company also confirmed that the Z6 would sport Sony AI triple camera and long-lasting battery.
