Lenovo tipped to launch 5G-enabled laptop; claims to provide all-day battery life

Lenovo is expected to announce a range of 5G-enabled laptops by the end of 2019. Recently, an event was held in New Delhi where the company had announced a few products that range from affordable budget to the premium price. In the same event, an unnamed employee has spilled the bean about its upcoming laptops with 5G connectivity and all-day battery life. Also, the company is now working on next-gen 5G technology that could expand its vast business in the country. However, it is not clear when the 5G-enabled laptops will make their way in India owing to the fact that the latest 5G network spectrum has not been allocated yet in the country.

According to the source, Lenovo is working to bring laptops that could connect to the super-fast 5G networks. It is also said that the Chinese company is partnering with both Intel and Qualcomm in order to introduce slim and lightweight laptops that will give an all-day battery life. Apart from all these, the source also expressed the company’s plan of introducing some powerful techs in their upcoming products. However, the company did not mention anything officially but according to the source, Lenovo will not let us wait for long. Also, the source affirms that the company will be bringing an improved gaming lineup with the Legion Y540 and Y740 laptops in August.

Lenovo has just announced a few products for its existing Yoga and Ideapad series among which, Lenovo IdeaPad S145 laptop comes with the most affordable price tag. On the other hand, Lenovo Yoga S940 carries is said to be a premium offering from the company, which sports an ultra-slim design with an almost bezel-less screen bearing 4K HDR resolution.
