Reliance Jio has launched two new JioFiber prepaid broadband plans at attractive pricing. Among the two broadband plans, the monthly plan is dubbed “FTTX Monthly Plan-PV-351”. The second one is a weekly plan and named “FTTX Weekly Plan- PV–199”. Both the prepaid broadband plans offer complimentary access to TV video calling. Let’s check the complete details and benefits of both the JioFiber plans.
Reliance JioFiber Rs 351 Monthly Plan: Details and Benefits
The first plan dubbed “FTTX Monthly Plan-PV-351” offers free local, STD and ISD call valid for 30 days. Besides, the plan offers total data benefits of 50GB at 10Mbps. Post FUP, the data speed gets reduced to 1Mbps and offer unlimited internet access. Although the plan is priced at Rs 351, it is interesting to note that it does not include GST. Hence the customers have to pay a total of Rs 414.18, including the GST charges. The plan also offers complimentary access to TV Video calling. Further, the plans are being offered with various advanced payment options such as 3 months, 6 months, yearly, and biennial plans. However, the Rs 351 plan is available only in combination with applicable STVs.
Reliance JioFiber Rs 199 Weekly Plan: Details and Benefits
The second JioFiber broadband plan dubbed “FTTX Weekly Plan- PV–199” comes with a validity of 7 days. The Rs 199 prepaid broadband plan offers unlimited voice calls, unlimited data with the download speed at 100Mbps speed. Post FUP, the data speed will get reduced to 1Mbps and offers unlimited internet access. The Rs 199 prepaid broadband plan also offers complimentary access to TV Video calling. Similar to Rs 351 prepaid plan, the Rs 199 plan does not include GST, so along with GST, the total price of the plan would be Rs 234.82. It is worth noting that only the existing RJIL FTTX subscribers can opt for this plan, and it is not available as the first recharge.
If we look back, Mukesh Ambani has announced the commercial launch of JioFiber back in September. The company has announced six broadband plans with varying data speeds and benefits. Although the telco has promised to offer additional benefits to subscribers opting for long term broadband plans of 3,6 and 12 months, it failed to garner the attention of many users. The pricing of these broadband plans is also not competitive enough as compared to the rival broadband operators. It would be interesting to see how the newly introduced plans succeed to catch the attention of the JioFiber subscribers.
