JioCloud gets integrated into My Jio app; offers 5GB free storage space and loads of exciting features


Reliance Jio has announced the integration of JioCloud in MyJio app. The subscribers can now access the JioCloud service through MyJio app and avail free cloud storage benefits of 5GB of free space. Further, the users can avail up to 100GB online storage by participating in the ongoing offers mentioned on the JioCloud official website. A web version of JioCloud is also available. 

What is JioCloud, and what are its features?

JioCloud is a cloud storage app that is meant for storage of users files, folders, songs, documents of any type and size. Reliance Jio offers 5GB of free storage space, which the users can use to upload and store up to 5GB of cloud storage. Earlier, JioCloud is available as an application on Google Play and the Apple App Store. But with the integration, Jio subscribers would be able to access JioCloud from the MyJio app similar to other Jio apps. They include Jio Cinema, JioSaavn, Jio Health club, Jio Cinema, and more. However, it should be noted that it is currently available only to prime members of MyJio app. Now, JioCloud is also made available as a Desktop version, which implicates that it is possible to upload files, media, and photos through the JioCloud website. It also means that the uploaded data would be easily in sync across multiple devices.

Features of JioCloud

JioCloud features a host of exciting features like de-dupe, offline access, create boards, and more.  Let’s have a glimpse at some of these features.

Interactive de-dedupe:

The feature lets you easily detect duplicate contacts from among the synced contacts and delete them from the address book.

Offline access:

JioCloud also lets you access files offline; all you need to do is mark these files, and you are done.

Zero-click back up:

With this feature, users can select the files they need to back up. Then the selected files would automatically be backed up to JioCloud.

Instant Playback:

The feature lets users to easily watch and play music and videos online without the need to download them to the device.

Easy categorization:

Users can easily create playlists and albums to categorize photos, music, videos for easy access.

Create Boards:

This feature lets users create Boards and makes it easy for collaborating with family and friends. Be it holiday trip, Birthday party, wedding, or any other occasion, the feature lets users invite friends. They can thereby add files, view, and comment on the user’s board.

Quick share:

With easy share and send option, it is quite easy to share content from the cloud storage. It allows the users to share as many files, irrespective of the size using a public link.

How to access JioCloud app?

To access JioCloud, the users need to download the app from Google Play or Apple app store or they can also download it on other PC or Mac. Then they need to login to the app using the existing Jio ID.
