Reliance Jio seems to be focusing on adding more long-term recharge plans to attract and maintain the prepaid user base. The India’s largest telecom operator now re-introduced the Rs 4,999 prepaid recharge plan that was discontinued in December last year. The Rs 4999 plan is especially beneficial to users who uses huge amount of data and not interested with daily data capping feature. With the introduction of Rs 4,999 plan, there are a total of three long-term recharge plans with Reliance Jio. The other plans include Rs 1299, and Rs 2121, which offer 336 days validity.
Jio Rs 4,999 Prepaid Recharge Plan Benefits:
Unlike the Rs 1299 and Rs 2121 plans, the Rs 4,999 recharge plan offers 360 days of validity to the prepaid users. The plan comes bundled with 350GB of high-speed 4G data, and you can use the data any day without daily cap, which is again a good thing. Once the allocated data gets exhausted, the speed gets reduced to 64Kbps and the data can be unlimited. The voice calls to other networks are clocked at 12000 minutes for entire validity period. However, calls made to Jio network are completely free just like other recharge plans. For messages, you are entitled with 100 free SMS everyday. As usual, users get complimentary free subscription to Jio apps like JioTV, JioCinema, JioNews, etc.
