iQOO Z1 launching in China on May 19, Live image leaked online


Update on May 11, 2020 (07:30AM): iQOO, today officially announced that the iQOO Z1 will launch on May 19 in China. The confirmation comes from official Weibo post that is put by iQOO today. The product page of the iQOO Z1 has also gone live on official website. The webpage reveal the punch-hole display, MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus SoC, 144Hz Display, 44W fast charging and 4500mAh battery of the phone.

iQOO Z1 live images leaked, tipped to be cheaper than the iQOO Neo 3

MediaTek had launched a new 5G processor called Dimensity 1000 Plus recently which is slightly an upgraded version of Dimensity 1000 SoC. The company also announced that iQOO will be the first brand to use it. We got to know that it is iQOO Z1 that will equip the Dimensity 1000 Plus processor though Digital Chat Station. The same leakster have now shared the live image of the smartphone and revealed the key details ahead of launch. According to the leaked live image, the iQOO Z1 will have share the design features with the iQOO Neo 3. Let’s talk about more details of the iQOO Z1 shared by Digital Chat Station in detail:

The iQOO Z1 will sport a punch-hole display arranged on the top right corner of the device just like the iQOO Neo 3. The tipster also noted that iQOO Z1 will have the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus SoC and the rest of the specifications to remain same as the iQOO Neo 3. However, the iQOO Z1 will have a cheaper price tag as compared to the iQOO Neo 3.

The iQOO Neo 3 was launched in April 2020 with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 144Hz refresh rate display, 48MP triple camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, 44W fast charging as key features. The handset is made available at a starting price of CNY 2,698 (approx Rs. 28,900) in China. The iQOO Z1, which is expected to be much cheaper than the iQOO Neo 3, may start at less than CNY 2,500 in China.
