Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO announced the launch of its first 5G smartphone dubbed iQOO Pro 5G this month in China. The iQOO Pro 5G smartphone has now made its public appearance unofficially at China Joy exhibition revealing key details ahead of its launch. The spy shot of the device was shared on this Weibo account, which was later confirmed by iQOO Product Manager. Here is what we know from the image:

The iQOO Pro 5G will carry a triple camera setup on the rear with LED flash beneath it. The design matched with the render that was shared officially a few days ago. The design is the same as the previous iQOO and iQOO Neo devices except that there are additional 5G letters written beside the iQOO logo. At the center of the device, we can see the phrase – ‘MONSTER INSIDE’. The device comes in dark green color. Apart from these, we can see the volume rockers and power button placed to the right side of the smartphone. There is no physical fingerprint sensor at the rear, which means the device will sport an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Based on the previous reports, the iQOO Pro 5G has the model number 1916A and is expected to come with Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, support 44W fast charging (revealed on 3C certification). Feng Yufei, Vice President of iQOO, said that the iQOO Pro is not just a 5G smartphone, but a flagship with top performance. Apart from these, there are reports that the device will come with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The device will reportedly cost CNY 4,498 in China.
