Vivo iQOO Plus 5G leaked

The much-awaited Vivo iQOO Plus 5G got leaked Weibo before its official launch. To everyone’s surprise, the new smartphone is priced 4498 Yuan and comparatively much lower than the speculated price. As one would imagine 5G phone to be priced higher, but that seems not to be the case here! Few of the specifications of the iQOO Plus 5G were also mentioned in the advertising poster.

Specifications of iQOO Plus 5G revealed from Weibo

The first 5G smartphone from Vivo is said to be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM. Apart from this, the iQOO Plus 5G would come with a massive in-built storage capacity of 128GB. The device is said to be powered by a massive 4500mAh battery and would support 44W fast charging.

To recall, a new iQOO mobile phone bearing model number V1916A model from Vivo received 3C certification. The device was also found to support 44W fast charging.

Recently, Vivo has showcased its first 5G phone at the IMT-2020 (5G) Summit that was held on July 17. Qin Fei, general manager of Vivo communication research institute, confirmed that the new 5G phone would be launched in 2019. The phone also gave an impressive download speed that exceeded 1GBPS. Connecting all the dots, it appears iQOO Plus 5G is indeed the smartphone that received 3C certification. The new phone was also registered in the market and received 5G certification. Hence, it suggests an imminent launch of iQOO Plus 5G.
