Update: The Vivo iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition is now available on preorders on popular e-commerce site JD.com.
Vivo yesterday released a poster of a new iQOO flagship phone called iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The company today announced more specifications and image of the smartphone through its official Weibo account. According to the Weibo post, the iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition will sport Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, UFS 3.0 flash memory and 4500mAh battery that offers support for 33W fast charging. The phone comes in an electro-optic mint color.
The Vivo iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition comes with a model number 1936AL and has passed through TENAA and 3C ahead of its official launch. As per the listing spotted on TENAA, the device flaunts a 6.38-inch waterdrop screen having a resolution of 2340 × 1080. The device measures 159.53 × 75.23 × 8.13mm and weighs 198.5g. There is a triple camera setup on the rear that comprises of 12MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors and the selfie camera has a 16MP sensor. The phone will be offered in 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB storage options. Finally, a 4500mAh battery will power the device and a 33W fast charger will charge it.
The iQOO Neo 855 and iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition differ each other only in terms of the processor. Rest all of the specs and features remain the same. The Vivo iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition is priced at 2598 yuan for the 8GB + 128GB version and the 12GB + 128GB version is priced at 2798 yuan. India launch of the device cannot be speculated at the moment as the previous iQOO phones hadn’t launched in the country.
