It seems that Huawei has added two more variants to its premium P30 Pro smartphone to make it more flexible for the customers. The variants are according to the RAM size and they are spotted on TENAA listing in the previous week. As for now, the smartphone is sold with an 8GB RAM along with three storage options and it is now expected to include 6GB and 12GB RAM, as per the TENAA database. However, there is no confirmation available from the company but the smartphone with its two new variants is expected to be available very soon in China.
The listings were first spotted by a well-known Chinese tech website named Gizmochina. Huawei P30 Pro is spotted with the model number VOG-AL00m and clearly enumerates the RAM capacity of 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB. The variations were restricted only with RAM, while rest of the specs remains the same.
The P30 Pro is not only Huawei’s bellwether but also one of the best smartphones available in the market. It packs industry-leading hardware and best in class software, particularly when it comes to camera optics. No wonder, the device is known to score 112 DxOMark mobile. Huawei P30 Pro flaunts a beautiful and highly immersive OLED panel at the front with a tear-drop cut out design. As its heart, it gets the Kirin 980 processor built on a 7nm process that delivers great performance and power efficiency. The back is ruled by a 40+20+8MP Leica camera set up along with a ToF sensor. The list doesn’t end here. The smartphone also flaunts a whopping 32MP sensor at the front, which has AI capabilities. The powerhouse of the device is a fairly large 4,200 mAh battery, assisted by 40W Huawei SuperChange technology.
The Huawei P30 Pro is a hefty upgrade over the P20 Pro. It is also one of the company’s buttresses in its ambitious plan of being the world’s biggest smartphone manufacturer. However, the path is not that easy, at least for this period, when the company is facing a dire backlash from the US government. This also resulted in a few major companies like Google and ARM to terminate operations with Huawei. Nonetheless, we haven’t seen any major downtown in the brand’s operations. Furthermore, Huawei is also reportedly working on its won native alternative to Android OS.
The upcoming variants of P30 Pro are likely to attract more buyers. Although it would be difficult to say about the OS that the other upcoming smartphones from the company will feature, the existing devices are still running Android OS with all support from the company. However, the TENAA database suggests an imminent launch in China but there are no reports of its global availability.
