Huawei- the Chinese telecom giant is all set to launch the Huawei P30 Pro and P30 smartphones at an event in Paris, France. Huawei will be live streaming the event through its YouTube channel. Let’s have a look at the specifications and features of Huawei P30 Pro and P30.

Specifications and features of Huawei P30 and P30 Pro

Huawei P30 and P30 pro are powered by Kirin 980 SoC and runs Android 9.0 Pie. The screen size of P30 Pro is 6.47-inch Full HD Plus with 2340 X 1080 pixels resolution, and P30 sports a 6.1-inch display. The screen type is OLED display with cured edges and has a waterdrop notch for Pro version. Both P30 and P30 Pro have different battery specifications. While P30 Pro is powered by a 4200mAh and P30 comes with 3650mAh battery.

On the camera front, P30 Pro will feature a quad-core setup composed of 40MP optically stabilised sensor, a 20MP wide-angle sensor, an 8MP sensor for 10X hybrid zoom, and a fourth Time of Fight (TOF) sensor. While P30 will sport a triple rear camera and features a lens combination of 40MP, 16MP, and an 8MP. The overall camera specs are well enough to give any medium range digital camera run for its money.

When it comes to RAM, P30 Pro has 2 variants; i.e., 6GB and 8GB, with an internal storage of 128GB and 256GB respectively. Both the devices do pack a punch when it comes to specifications, but are priced higher and may disappoint Indian customers. The Pro 30 is said to be priced around Rs. 80,000 for 8GB / 128GB variant and Rs.78,000 for 6GB / 128GB option. The highest variant (8GB / 256GB) is expected to be available for a whopping price of Rs. 86,000, which is close to the price of Apple high-end phones. On the other hand, the starting price for P30 could start from Rs. 59,000.
