Huawei P30, a smartphone that launched back in April, has been seen on TENAA – a Chinese certification site – with a 12 GB RAM version. The variant, which was launched previously has a 6GB RAM. And now, a new device identical to the P30 but with a higher size of RAM has appeared on TENAA listing.
This information is suggestive to the fact that a new version with higher RAM will be launching soon. The rest of the specs including storage space will remain the same as per the reports. The 12 GB version will be sold under the model number ‘ELE-AL00m,’ whereas the current ones go by the model numbers ‘ELE-TL00’ and ‘ELE-AL00.’ As for now, there is no further information available for the smartphone.
Huawei P30 is a premium smartphone from the house of Huawei. The smartphone features a 6.0-inch OLED display. The screen resolution is 1,080 X 2,340 pixels along with a 430 PPI pixel density. The display offers a rich and detailed visual for better user experience.
It runs on the latest Android v9.0 (Pie). The 2.6 GHz octa-core processor, which is seated upon the HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset ensures the device gives a great performance. In addition to that, a 6GB RAM coupled with a Mali-G72 MP12 GPU takes care of lag-free performance while online gaming and multimedia consumption.
The Huawei P30 comes with an internal storage of 128GB. It is sufficient enough to store all the files and data of the user. However, the smartphone does not support the usage of microSD cards.
The device has a dual camera setup at the rear – 40MP and 20MP lenses along with a dual-color LED flash. They are used for clicking pictures. At the front, a 24MP camera is housed for taking selfies and making video calls.
Huawei has offered a 4,000 mAh Li-Polymer battery on the P30. Along with that, Fast Charge support is also there to recharge the phone in the least possible time.
In other news, Huawei has announced a couple of updates on its P30 Pro model – a Dual-view Video Mode and an AR Measure app. The P30 Pro is the flagship camera phone from the brand and with the new updates, it’s appeal among users will only increase. These new features were already available in other countries. Now, Huawei is launching it in India as well.
The Dual-View Video mode lets users split the viewfinder for two camera feeds. However, where this feature makes it different from other phones is instead of using the primary camera and the front camera – which is the norm – it uses the primary camera along with the telephoto lens. This, in turn, gives users a zoomed in and wide view of the subject.
On the other hand, AR Measure uses the Time of Flight (ToF) 3D camera for measuring the length and calculating the volume as well as the area of the object. It can even measure the height of a person. The margin of error is around one percent, as claimed by the brand.
