Huawei’s flagship smartphone P30 was launched early this year in several countries, including China. The smartphone was launched with 8GB of RAM that is paired with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of onboard storage. Today, Huawei announced a new variant of the P30, which is ready for pre-sale on JD.com in China. The new 6GB + 128GB variant is priced the same as that of the 8GB + 64GB variant that was already launched.
The new 6GB + 128GB variant of the Huawei P30 is available in the realm of the sky, Bright black, Aurora, Red tea orange, Pearlescent Fritillary colors. With respect to pricing, the Huawei P30 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at CNY 3988 in China, which is the same as that of 8GB +64GB variant. According to the details available on TENAA, the Huawei P30 will be available in 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB variants, among which 6GB and 8GB RAM variants are currently available. We expect the 12GB RAM variant to be launched any time soon from now.
To recap, the Huawei P30 comes with Kirin 980 processor and features a 6.47-inch OLED display having a Full-HD+ resolution and HDR10 support. Powered by a 4,200mAh battery, the smartphone supports 40W fast charging feature. The most highlighting feature of the Huawei P30 is the quad-camera setup which contains a 40MP primary sensor, 20MP ultra-wide angle sensor, an 8MP telephoto sensor, and lastly a Time of Flight sensor.
We expect the new variant to launch in India as well, though any official update regarding the same is not yet revealed.
