Huawei Nova 6 5G will be Opened for Appointments Starting November 30 in China, Official Poster Confirms Design [Update: Renders]

Update on November 30, 7 AM IST: Huawei’s official e-commerce store Vmall has listed the Huawei Nova 6 5G in four colors and two memory variants. The listing also reveals the renders of all the four colors – Bright Black, Soy Blue, Provence, and Honey Red. The device will be available in two memory options – 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. The website is taking the reservations now and will continue until December 5.

Huawei Nova 6 is going to launch in China on December 5. The device will come with 5G support and a dual punch-hole display. Ahead of the launch, the Nova 6 5G will be opened for an appointment starting November 30 via major e-commerce sites in China. Huawei through its official Weibo account released a poster revealing the design of the smartphone to a certain extent. As seen on the poster, the Nova 6 has a quad-camera setup on the rear and for taking selfies, there are two cameras inside the dual punch-hole display. The poster also confirms the side-mounted fingerprint sensor that is placed on the right side of the device.

Earlier, the Huawei Nova 6 5G with model number WLZ-AN00 was spotted in the Geekbench database with the company’s in-house 1.86GHz Kirin 990 octa-core processor and 8GB of RAM. The listing also reveals that the Nova 6 5G will ship with Android 10 out of the box. On Geekbench, the device scored 3,821 and 11,963 in single-core and multi-core tests.

Previous reports suggest that the Huawei Nova 6 will have a 60MP primary camera (which may employ Sony IMX686 sensor), a 32MP selfie camera accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a FOV of 105 degrees. In addition, the device is expected to be powered by a 4000mAh battery with 40W fast charging support. As for the display, the device will flaunt a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) IPS LCD display.

The Huawei Nova 6 5G will launch in China on December 5 and will take on its near relative Honor V30. Interestingly, Vivo and Realme are also launching their 5G phones named Vivo X30 and Realme X50 respectively in the Chinese market.
