Huawei just confirmed the launch of its next smartphone, the Nova 5i Pro in China. The company took to Weibo to announce the official launch date of the Nova 5i Pro with a teaser, revealing key specs and features as well. The device will launch in China on July 26 at 16:08 local time. The Nova 5i Pro is one of the smartphones of the Nova 5 series that was launched in June.
According to the official teaser, the Huawei Nova 5i Pro is equipped with a Kirin 810 SoC, 32MP camera that is embedded inside a punch-hole display and a 48MP quad-camera setup on the rear. For security, the device has a fingerprint sensor on the rear, unlike an in-display sensor. The device sports a typical Mate 20-like design with the quad-camera setup arranged in a square fashion and the emerald green color.
Previous reports suggest that the Huawei Nova 5i Pro will launch as Mate 30 Lite in the countries outside China. The device is expected to come with a 6.26-inch IPS display and a screen resolution of 2340×1080. The quad-camera setup will be composed of 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors. Lastly, the device will be powered by a 3900mAh battery with support for fast charging.
With respect to pricing, the Nova 5i Pro will likely be priced at around CNY 2000 in China, which translates to Rs 20,000 or $30. Let’s wait till July 26 to know more details about the device officially.
