Huawei Nova 5 Pro Scores 315816 on AnTuTu, Real-life Hands-on Images Leaked

Huawei is all set to launch the Nova 5 series on June 21 at an event in China. The series includes Nova 5i, Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro. While Nova 5 Pro is expected to be the high-end mobile in terms of configuration, the Nova 5i will likely equip mid-range specs. We have already got the unofficial renders of the Huawei Nova 5 Pro in full glory that was leaked from Chinese e-commerce sites. AnTuTu, one of the popular benchmarking app for Android, today released the benchmark score for the Nova 5 Pro. Bearing the model number SEA-AL10, the Huawei Nova 5 Pro scored 315816 on AnTuTu.

The score suggests that the Nova 5 Pro lags behind the likes of current flagship models like Redmi K20 Pro, Asus Zenfone 6 and Meizu 16s. From the image posted by AnTuTu, we can also confirm that the Nova 5 Pro will feature a display resolution of 2340×1080. As expected, the phone will equip the Kirin 980 processor that will pair with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For enhanced gaming performance, the Nova 5 Pro will sport a Mali-G76 GPU. Another official poster shared by Huawei revealed that the Huawei Nova 5 Pro will sport a 48MP camera. The Nova 5 Pro already went on presale via VMall in China and is available in four colors – Digard forest, Midsummer purple, Coral orange, Bright black.

Through another Weibo post, Huawei mobiles president He Gang said, “We are about to become the world’s first mobile phone brand with two 7nm SoC chips”, which suggests that Huawei is launching a new chipset that is rumored to be Kirin 810. The Nova 5 Pro could equip this latest 7nm chipset.

In another leak, the Huawei Nova 5 Pro is shown off in real-life hands-on images. According to the leaked images, we can confirm the dewdrop notch, quad-camera setup and gradient design of the smartphone. There could be Orange and Black colors along with the Green and Purple that are leaked in the images. Along with the handset images, the charger which got leaked confirms us that the phone will support 40W fast charge technology.

The Huawei Nova 5 Pro along with Nova 5 and Nova 5i will launch on June 21 in China and we expect the phones to arrive India in a few months.

  1. Huawei is in a critical position, the aftermath of the ban in the US has impacted greatly on worldwide sales of Huawei. Huawei is heavily dependent on there new OS which is yet to launch. Meanwhile, Nova 5 Pro is expected to be the high-end mobile in terms of the configuration so it will play a huge role in the future of Huawei and the smartphone business of Huawei.
