Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5i Officially Launching in China on June 21


Huawei recently announced that it will be launching the Nova 5 series on June 21 in China. We can expect Huawei to launch both Nova 5 and Nova 5i on the same day. The Nova 5 is an upgraded successor to last year’s Nova 4 . While not much is known about the Nova 5 as of now, the TENAA listing revealed key specifications of the Huawei Nova 5i.

Specifications of Huawei Nova 5i

As far as the Huawei Nova 5i is concerned, the TENNA listing confirms that the phone will come with 6.4-inch Full HD+ display having a screen resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels. The phone is equipped with a 12nm chipset, which we expect it to be in-house 12nm Kirin 710 processor. The smartphone comes in two variants – 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. In the camera department, Nova 5i has a quad camera setup with a 24MP primary sensor, 8MP and two 2MP additional sensors to capture high-quality images. For selfie lovers, there is a 24MP camera which can be used to click AI photographs and make video calls. Powered by a 3900mAh battery, the Nova 5i runs EMUI 9 which is based on Android 9 Pie operating system.

As for the Huawei Nova 5 specs, we expect the device to come with latest Kirin 980 chipset, 48MP primary camera, a selfie pop-up camera, and a 44W fast charging support. We expect the device to sport a UD fingerprint sensor while other features are currently unknown or far from guessing at the moment.

Huawei Nova 5 and Nova 5 are launching in China on June 21 and expected to be launched in India as well in coming months.
