There have been several reports in the media about Huawei’s successor to MediaPad M5 tablet, the MediaPad M6. The upcoming tablet from Huawei is said to feature Kirin 980 chipset making it yet another flagship device. Today, while browsing the Huawei’s official store on Jingdong mall, we found a new tablet on the cover page and as per the text that is written beside the tablet, we figured out to be MediaPad M6. Here’s what we understand from the image.

From the image of the MediaPad M6 found on Jindong, we can see that Huawei has made a lot of changes in the design department compared to the MediaPad M5. The M6 lacks any physical button on the front side and the Huawei logo is placed at the bottom side of the tablet. The bezels are narrowers on all the four sides compared to the previous generation tablet. There is a single selfie camera placed at the middle of the upper border. The MediaPad M6 is expected to come with multiple sizes and memory versions, covering all price points.
In terms of specifications, the MediaPad M6 is expected to equip the latest Kirin 980 chipset and could come in 8.4-inch and 10.7-inch versions with resolutions of 2560×1660. The smaller version could be powered by 4500mAh battery and the larger version is pegged to come with a 7500mAh battery.
Interestingly, the Huawei MediaPad M6 with model number SCM-W09 appeared on EEC, Russia a few days back which confirms its imminent launch.
