Huawei is prepping up to launch its flagship smartphone amid raising concerns in the US about Huawei – Google relationship. Huawei launched the Mate 20 series last year and the time has come for its successor, the Mate 30. The renders of the same had already surfaced online, revealing the design that is different from each other and is too hard to believe. The latest leak reveals the Huawei Mate 30 four cameras placed in a circular fashion.
According to the render, the Huawei Mate 30 comes in a quad-camera setup, 5X optical zoom. It is also revealed that Huawei will be partnering with Leica for the design and construction of excellent lenses for the Mate 30. The camera is labeled Leica Vario-Summilux-H 1:1.6-3.4/16-125mm ASPH. The Mate 30 could come in Emerald green color just like the Mate 20 Pro. As we couldn’t find any physical fingerprint sensor on the back, we expect the phone to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
According to previous reports, the Huawei Mate 30 will arrive with 6.71-inch AMOLED display, and the screen will have a 90Hz refresh rate just like the OnePlus 7 Pro and Nubia Red Magic 3. The Mate 30 is expected to sport Kirin 985 SoC that is paired with Balong 5000 5G modem. Other rumors include 4200 mAh battery with support for 55W fast wired charging.
Regarding the launch date, the Huawei is expected to launch the Mate 30 in October 2019. The device is expected to run the latest Android Q OS out of the box.
