Huawei is launching the all-new MatePad Pro on November 25 in China. The tablet is expected to sport flagship hardware and will also likely support 5G. The MatePad Pro will sport a punch-hole display. Ahead of the official launch, Huawei released an official promotional video on Weibo, revealing the design and key features of the MatePad Pro.
As per the promotional video, the Huawei MatePad Pro sports a dual-camera setup on the rear, a single camera embedded inside the hole-punch of the display. Bezels look narrow on the top and bottom of the tablet. Another great feature we are able to spot in the video is the split-screen option, which enhances the work efficiency. Another thing that already confirmed officially is the M-pen Stylus support which supports handwriting, drawing pictures, etc.
Yesterday, the Huawei MatePad Pro bearing the model number MRX-AL09 was spotted in the Geekbench database. According to the listing, the MatePad Pro comes with 6GB of RAM, and Android 10. The processor details are not revealed, but we expect it could be Kirin 990 SoC based on the benchmark scores.
In a related certification, a new model number of MatePad Pro appeared on Bluetooth SIG. The model MRX-AN09 hints at 5G support as the letter ‘N’ suggests 5G in all the previous device models. The 3C listing of the device suggests 40W fast charging support for the device as well.
