Airtel Digital TV subscribers can now add and delete A-la-Carte channels through SMS. The good thing is the process works out even if you do not have access to your account or registered mobile number (RMN). For those unaware, A-la-Carte refers to a pricing model, wherein the customers can subscribe to individual television channels. As of now, the Airtel DTH subscribers were able to add or delete channels only via the Airtel self-care app or the website. However, the Airtel DTH subscribers need to know their customer ID, and they can then send SMS to 54325 through either RMN or another mobile number. The SMS mode of addition or removal of DTH channels is instantaneous, and customers would be notified once after the addition or removal of channels. How Can I Add a New A-la-Carte Channel on Airtel Digital TV Via SMS?

Airtel Digital TV users can add a new A-la-Carte Channel by sending an SMS to 54325. They can do it either through their registered mobile number or through customer ID if they don’t have a registered mobile number.

How to Add and Remove Channels in Airtel DTH By SMS 2020

1) With Registered Mobile Number:

To add any new channel through the registered mobile number (RMN), Airtel Digital users needed to send an SMS to 54325. The format for adding a new channel is SMS ADD<channel number>54325. 

2) Without Registered Mobile Number:

In case the customer does not have any registered mobile number, they can add a channel through customer ID. For customer ID, users can press the “Menu” key on the remote, and it will be displayed at the bottom. It is a two-step process, wherein the customers need to send the SMS twice to the 54325 for a new channel addition. 

Initially, Airtel Digital users need to send the SMS in the format such as SMS ADD<Channel Number> ID<Customer ID> and send it to 54325. After that, the users get OTP on their mobile. They then need to send the second SMS in the following format: Top<Space>OTP to 54325. 

How Can I Remove an A-la-Carte Channel on Airtel Digital TV Via SMS?

Similar to the channel addition, Airtel DTH users can also drop a particular channel by sending an SMS to 54325. As explained before, the users can remove an A-la-Carte channel by two modes; through the Registered mobile number (RMN) and Customer ID. 

How to Add and Remove Channels in Airtel DTH By SMS 2020

1) With Registered Mobile Number:

To drop the channel using the registered mobile number, the SMS format is as follows. SMS REM<Channel Number> to 54325. 

2) Without Registered Mobile Number:

To drop a channel from a non-registered mobile number, one needs to have the customer ID. The format for removing a channel using customer ID is SMS REM<Channel Number>ID<Customer ID> and send to 54325. Following this, they would receive an OTP, and they need to send another SMS in the format like TOP<Space>OTP to 54325.
