Update: The leaster Digital Chat Station leaked the renders of the Honor Play 4T, which comes in three stunning color shades. He says the render and specifications he shared earlier is that of the Honor Play 4T Pro. The main difference between the two models lies in the fingerprint sensor. The Play 4T has the fingerprint sensor on the rear, whereas, the 4T Pro comes with an in-display sensor. Below are the specifications of both the devices side-by-side.



Honor Play 4T is the upcoming smartphone from the Honor family that is launching in China on April 9. According to the teaser poster, it is expected to be a gaming-focused smartphone. The Weibo post also indicated that it is Honor Play 4T series that will launch on April 9, which suggests there could be more than one model. The Honor Play 4T will be the successor to the Honor Play 3 that was launched in 2019.

The popular leakster Digital Chat Station has tipped the key specifications and render of the Honor Play 4T ahead of the launch. According to him, the Honor Play 4T sport a waterdrop notch display, and a triple camera setup on the rear. As for the specifications, the Honor Play 4T sports a Kirin 810 SoC and 6.3-inch Full HD OLED display. The rear camera comprises of 48MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors and on the front, there will be a 16MP camera inside the waterdrop notch. The device will be powered by 4000mAh battery and support 22.5W fast charging technology. The renders suggest there could be at least two color options for the buyers to choose from.

To recap, the Honor Play 3, which was launched last year is equipped with Kirin 710F SoC. The device sports a 6.39 inches IPS LCD display with a punch-hole camera on top of it. In the camera department, the Honor Play 3 sports a 48MP triple camera setup with 48MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors. On the front, an 8MP camera helps in taking selfies. The device is equipped with a 4000mAh battery with a standard 10W charging support.
