Huawei’s sub-brand Honor will launch its next 5G smartphones Honor Play 4 and Play 4 Pro in China on June 3. The company has put an official post on its Weibo account revealing the same. Among the two smartphones, the Play 4 Pro was listed on its official online store Vmall, where its renders were revealed ahead of launch. The Honor Play 4, on the other hand, has appeared on TENAA certification website, where its full specifications and renders are revealed.
Honor has already started teasing the Pro variant of the Play 4, but the standard Play 4 existence has confirmed through the official Weibo post today. Honor has put out a poster announcing that the Play 4 series will launch in China on June 3, which means there are Honor Play 4 and Play 4 Pro.
According to TENAA, the Honor Play 4 comes with model number TNNH-AN00. The device has a 6.81″ full HD, single punch-hole LCD screen with a 16MP selfie camera in it. On the rear, there is a quad camera setup comprising of 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP cameras. There is a 2.0GHz 5G processor, which Digital Chat Station expects it could be the MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC. The device will be powered by 4200mAh battery and will be available in 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM and 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants.
The Honor Play 4 Pro, on the other hand, is listed on VMall, where the renders of the device got revealed. According to the images, the Play 4 Pro has a 40MP dual camera setup on the rear, dual punch-hole cameras on the front, side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device will be available in two colors – Phantom Black and Machine Armor Blue. The company has already teased the smartphone, hinting the key features. According to ITHome, the features are expected to be Kirin 990 SoC, 40W fast charging and IR blaster.
