Honor 9X, the most-awaited X series smartphone from Honor is finally launching on July 23 in China. Honor, through a Weibo post today announced the new 9X with a slogan ‘Born by the Core,’ which could mean that the device could be powered a powerful processor. Honor during the launch of Honor 20 series in China confirmed that the upcoming 9X would be powered by Kirin 810 chipset, which is made using 7nm process technology.
According to the previous leaks and certifications, Honor is likely to launch the new smartphone in two variants – Honor 9X and 9X Pro. Bearing the model number HLK-AL10 and HLK-L41, the Honor 9X and 9X Pro respectively got certified on 3C and EEC. The Honor 9X would come with a 10W charger, which isn’t very fast.
Previous reports suggest that the Honor 9X Pro comes with a quad-camera setup which features a 48MP camera supported by a Sony IMX582 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP dedicated macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. There could be a 25MP selfie camera inside a punch-hole display and could feature a 4000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging technology. The smartphone will sport an LCD with a screen size between 6.5-inches to 6.7-inches. The phone is expected to make with a 3D glass design, which could be the USP for the company.
