Honor 20 Pro is the latest addition to the premium lineup of Honor, and right after its launch, it has received a high score in the DxOMark test. The smartphone scored 111 on the DxOMark camera review, which matches with the points of OnePlus 7 Pro and is slightly below the leading Huawei P30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10 5G that scored 112 points overall. Furthermore, the photo score of the Honor 20 Pro is 117 while the video score received 97.
The device that has been launched in London is appreciated for the camera skills, including, exposure, zoom, bokeh effect, noise level, and dynamic range. Besides, the low light photo is also a vital strength of the camera. Based on the reports, the device is said to provide some of the best highlight and shadow detail preservation alongside being capable of producing a pleasant and elegant color finish. The camera is also claimed to have features like AI Ultra Clarity mode, which is known to capture sharper images with crisp detail.
Coming to the detailed optic specs, it carries a quad rear camera technology that is furnished vertically at the back panel. The lenses comprise of a 48MP primary resolution, a 16MP super-wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto sensor with 3X optical zoom and a 2MP macro lens. The front camera contains a 32MP lens. Apart from the camera, it also brings an impressive punch-hole display, which takes a very less space by increasing the screen to body ratio. The display is 6.26-inches tall and supports full HD+ resolution and a 412 PPI density. At the rear side, it gets a Dynamic Holographic Design, which has a 3D curved glass for a more vibrant look.
The device, however, is said to bring some disappointment concerning the processor, which is comparatively lower than a premium device. But considering the same, we get a 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset coupled with Mali-G76 MP10 GPU and an 8GB RAM and runs on the latest Android 9 Pie version. In terms of storage, it features a whopping 256GB internal memory.
Speaking of the power back up, the device depends on a 4,000mAh Li-Polymer battery coupled with Superfast charging technology that is claimed to fill 50 percent in just 30-minutes. This technology is primarily integrated for gamers as it can make the games much more responsive. The energy consumption will also be significantly lowered due to the use of this technology.
The Honor 20 Pro price has been set at EUR 599, which is roughly Rs 46,500. The device will be available soon in India via online shopping site Flipkart.
