The Chinese smartphone company Vivo is preparing to launch a new smartphone in the home country. Y-series is the budget offering and the company is aggressively pushing more models from the category. Our sources close to the industry revealed to us that Vivo Y3 Standard edition is soon going to launch in China. The device will be the lighter version of the Vivo Y3 that was launched in May 2019.

Vivo Y3 Standard Edition Specifications:

The Vivo Y3 Standard Edition, according to our sources, will equip Snapdragon 439 SoC and come with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. There will be a dual-camera setup at the rear which will include 13MP + 2MP sensors. For selfies, there will be an 8MP camera. The screen size will be 6.3-inch and sport a waterdrop notch. The other thing we got to know is that the device will be powered by a massive 5000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging.

Vivo will most probably launch the Y3 Standard Edition by the end of next week in China. The device will likely be priced under CNY 1000 (under Rs 10,000). The launch of the device in India is not known at the moment. Since Vivo hasn’t launched the Y3 in the Indian market, the probability of this device getting launched in India is scarce.
