Sony Xperia 2 Case Renders: Here’s What’s Revealed
The leaked case renders suggest that the Sony Xperia 2 will sport a triple camera setup at the rear. Unlike the Xperia 1, the cameras are placed in the top-left corner of the device. The LED flash is placed above the camera setup. We can also see the fingerprint scanner, volume rockers, camera shutter key and a Power button placed in the right side of the device.
At the bottom of the mobile, there is a Type-C USB port and a 3.5mm jack. Sony Xperia 2 is expected to retain the 21:9 display as well. There also appears to be a thick bezel above the display, just like the Xperia 1.
Earlier leaks pointed to a 6.1” 4K OLED screen on the Xperia 2. J8210 is expected to be the model number of the device that has a codename ‘Horus’. Inside the phone is expected to have a Snapdragon 855 processor (SDM 855 Plus can be expected), 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device could be powered by a 3,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging technology.
Today, a trademark filed by Sony was spotted at EUIPO that points to a new feature of the Xperia 2. ‘S-Cinetone’, the trademark filed by the Japanese company suggests the possible media-related function of the Xperia 2 device.
