Reliance Jio captured the Indian telecom market in no time ever since its inception in September 2016. The Mukesh Ambani led telco has successfully surpassed other rival networks like Airtel, BSNL, Vodafone Idea and emerged as the leading telecom operator in India. But of late, the telco has faced quite a stir from its subscribers after the introduction of IUC (Interconnect usage charges). As part of IUC, Reliance Jio started charging 6 paise per minute to calls made to other networks. The telco has launched All-in-One recharge plans bundled with IUC minutes. In case, you are a bit confused to check IUC minutes for your plan, then this article is just for you.
Check IUC Minutes Balance using My Jio App
In case, if you happen to recharge with any of the Jio All-in-One recharge plans, you would have noticed that these plans come bundled with IUC minutes. The plans also include SMS, unlimited Jio-Jio Voice calling and data benefits. If you wanted to check the unused IUC minutes, you can check for the same using MyJio application. All you need to do is open My Jio app on your smartphone. Here, you can find two tabs such as “View Plan” and the other tab which shows the data usage. When you click on the View Plan tab, you would be able to view the complete details of the plan such as SMS used from your current active plan. In the second part, you can view the amount of data spent of the available data limit. It is followed by the available non-Jio calling minutes. Here you can view the left over IUC minutes out of the total allocated minutes.
Alternatively, you can also check for IUC minutes by using MyJio application in another mode. Open the MyJio app and click on three lines present on the top left corner. Then you need to click My Plans section from the available options. You will then get the complete details of your current plan like SMS, available data as well as the remaining non-Jio Voice calling minutes.
